"Music is the language of the heart, without words"
- Shinichi Suzuki

A steadfast believer in the powerful unity of music, Beth is honored and privileged to be able to offer this universal gift of harmony to children, through learning to play the cello.
In addition to her education degree from the University of Ottawa, Beth earned her Every Child Can and Suzuki Cello Books 1 through 4 certifications through the Suzuki Teacher Training Institute, at Ithaca College.
She maintain a large cello studio, having taught through Suzuki Music (Ottawa) from 2010–2014, serving as it’s Music Director from 2012-2013, and then with the Ottawa Suzuki Strings from 2015–2016.

Beth is honored to be joining the faculty (again) at OTTAWA SUZUKI STRINGS, where she will be starting a small cello studio and offering weekly cello group classes with the school.  Limited spots available. Contact Beth or Ottawa Suzuki Strings, to find out more.

“..(Beth is) extremely patient and nurturing - she guides you to be a better player...(and is) always positive and encouraging"

Cello Student Parent

“…(my daughter) has not once gotten into the car after a lesson with you without a big smile on her face, telling me what a great lesson she had. We love your calm, intuitive, and yet logical, approach. You have been such an inspiration to her, personally, musically and as a mentor-teacher.”

Cello Student Parent

“Lesson time with Beth is always stress free and positive, making the progress seen in my son's playing and understanding seem almost effortless, yet very rewarding - the way great teaching should be”
